As long as people have to travel, careers in hospitality and food service for travelers will be available to help the weary on their way.

The ongoing transformation of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is generating a growing number of employment opportunities in the area as the new Airmall is created to provide services for busy airport patrons.

"At a time when the conversation is dominated by downsizing and contraction elsewhere, BAA Cleveland is proud to hang the 'Help Wanted' sign on the front door of the airport," noted Mark Knight, president of BAA Cleveland. "From full-service restaurants and bars to fast-casual offerings and top-notch retail units, the biggest brands from across the nation and around the region will have a presence at the new Airmall."

The food service industry is one of the largest in the U.S., with 7.4 million jobs according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Careers in the hospitality and travel industry are likely to expand in the airline sector. The FAA predicts that there will be 1 billion airline passengers a year in the country by the year 2021.ADNFCR-1502-ID-19235178-ADNFCR
