University of Houston to Host May Entrepreneur Boot Camp

 The University of Houston will host a 1 day intensive entrepreneurship boot camp on May 10
Business owners looking to enhance their resume know that it's important to attend industry seminars and training sessions in order to gain valuable skills to help their companies succeed. Now, the University of Houston, along with Iscential insurance company will host a one-day intensive boot camp focusing on the specific challenges faced by today's entrepreneurs.

To be held May 10 as part of the 2012 Boost Your Business Value Boot Camp Series, the "Profitability Factor" program will offer insights and action steps that business leaders can apply immediately to help their companies grow.

"Iscential is pleased to be a part of this unique opportunity to help today’s business owners improve their position and achieve their company’s true profit potential," chief executive officer Warren Barhorst, noted. "And we’re continually trying to find ways to help and encourage budding entrepreneurs, and this does just that for those attending the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship."

Future boot camp programs this fall will include "Building a Sellable Business" and "Manufacturing Edition."

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, approximately 2.5 million jobs were created in the U.S. by new establishments in 2010.
