Getting into entrepreneurship can be a great way for individuals to work on their own schedule. An entrepreneur can be their own boss, and can lead others depending on the company's size. These individuals should strive to be highly motivated, as they do not have authoritative figures to direct what needs to be done. However, for people who have many commitments but still want to make a name for themselves in business, entrepreneurship may be right up their alley.

According to Entrepreneur.com, many mothers are beginning to start their own business as a way to balance work and family life. By going into a field in which an individual has experience or knowledge, starting up a company may be an easy way to stay employed on their own terms.

"Like being a parent, owning a business is the toughest job you'll ever love," author Julie Lenzer Kirk told the news provider. "What most people don't realize is that the right business is also one of the best ways to take control of your life."

According to BusinessWeek, half of U.S. businesses are run by women, totaling 10 million companies.ADNFCR-1502-ID-19599018-ADNFCR
