Many entrepreneurs have used their business knowledge to work their way from the ground up. Entrepreneurial endeavors are usually accomplished by driven individuals who don't mind being their own boss. They also have a strong business sense on what makes for good investments. Because of this skill, they tend to instill upon others the importance of pursuing a dream, sometimes even financially backing selected individuals. California entrepreneur, Clinton Severson, and his wife, Conni Ahart, are looking to inspire other people interested in starting their own business by donating $1 million to their alma marter to establish an entrepreneurial program, according to the Minot Daily News. "What will come of this investment in the university is a new academy aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and building better business leaders for the present and future needs of Minot and the surrounding region," Severson told the news provider. According to BusinessPundit.com, the age of the average entrepreneur is 37.6 years old. However, studies also show that the older an entrepreneur is, the more likely their company will succeed. |
