As many veterans struggle to find employment in the civilian job market, Military MBA has announced a partnership with Student Veterans of America (SVA) aimed at providing military members more resources in order to add additional credentials on their resume that will help them advance in their new careers.

The partnership will help expand options for veterans looking to pursue their master's of business administration (MBA) degree as they transition out of military service.

Greg Eisenbarth, executive director of Military MBA, said the collaboration will include a number of new online resources needed due to recent budget cuts from the Department of Defense.

"These men and women need support in evaluating their education and career options following the Post-9/11 era of the military," Eisenbarth explained. "Military MBA's partnership with SVA expands our reach to thousands of veterans with the information, advice and resources needed to apply the right MBA program and take full advantage of their education benefits."

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, unemployment rates in 2010 for veterans with advanced degrees on their resumes were lower than for those with little or no college education.
