Herzing University has announced an innovative new program that will allow students to add a bachelor of science and their master of business administration (MBA) degrees to their resumes in less than 4 years. School officials said the initiative will let students in their senior year save time and money by exchanging 4 business or open elective courses for 4 MBA classes that will count toward both degrees. "Students can now advance their careers and reach their education goals faster," Renée Herzing, president of Herzing University, stated. "Our new Dual Enrollment program is the latest innovation in our long history of helping students to access higher education in ways that make sense for their lifestyles and their career aspirations." Students enrolled in a variety of undergraduate programs, including accounting, criminal justice, health information management, legal studies and technology management, are eligible for the dual enrollment MBA program. The program is being offered at all of Herzing's 12 locations across the U.S. and online. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, professionals with an advanced postsecondary degree on their resume can earn $1,000 more per week than those with some or no college education. |
