New plan looks to reward teachers for helping students succeed
An education career can be a very rewarding profession for those who are interested in making a difference in a child's life. Teaching can provide individuals with a plethora of knowledge, which is one of the reasons it's one of the most popular professions in the country. People who are interested in sharing their knowledge with the world should consider a career in teaching.

President Barack Obama is looking to make sure that students receive the best education possible, which could mean a change in lessons for teachers, according to The Washington Post. Obama's plan would create an accountability system for educators, in which they are rewarded for the number of students who they help prepare for college and careers.

This move would revamp the No Child Left Behind plan, in which schools are often penalized for their graduation rate, which can sometimes ultimately force schools to pass children who really are not ready for the world just to keep graduation rates up.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, careers in teaching are supposed to increase by 13% by 2018.ADNFCR-1502-ID-19593827-ADNFCR
