DeVry Online Services has announced plans to create hundreds of education jobs in the Chicago area over the next 9 years. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, officials at the Illinois-based online university will be looking to hire approximately 400 employees with a variety of skills on their resumes to fill positions that range from senior executives to advisors and instructional designers for its West Loop location. Daniel Hamburger, president and chief executive officer of DeVry, said that it choice the West Loop location for expansion due to the quality of talent in the city. "Chicago is a great city for organizations that need to hire young professionals," Hamburger stated. "We could have placed these employees anywhere in the country - but we felt the combination of quality talent, resources and office space made Chicago our best choice."
