Careers in Childcare Can Come From New Projects

Children are considered the most vulnerable members of society and those in childcare or teaching positions must have the ability to generate trust from their charges. These individuals instinctively know how to nurture and encourage younger people to help promote their mental and intellectual growth. The job is challenging but ultimately very rewarding when kids develop into bright, responsible adults.

Missisppi Building Blocks is a new initative for early childhood education and is soon to be recognized at a formal luncheon, according to the Clarion Ledger.

The privately financed program intends to improve existing centers by updating facilities and enhancing overall quality and education.

Eight area schools are set to participate in this project that is expected to cost $10.5 million over the course of three years, the news provider reports.

For those hoping to enter the childcare field, the Bureau of Labor Statistics has some promising news. It is expected that employment for these workers will increase by 18% to 2016.
