It is possible that unemployed students seeking careers in criminal justice may be able to strengthen their resumes through work experience or volunteering.

Steven Kirkpatrick, Adecco Retail's managing director, claimed this week that by embarking on such schemes, people can make themselves more attractive to potential employers because it demonstrates that they are "ready and willing to get back on the career ladder".

"Volunteering and work experience can be a brilliant way to refresh your [resume] if you haven't worked in a while," he commented.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, it is important that those heading to a job interview take their resumes with them because they may be asked to provide information about previous employment, training and education.

In such documents, people may wish to include details of any law school clinical programs they may have taken part in at school - a common way for a lot of students to gain work experience.ADNFCR-1502-ID-18797416-ADNFCR
