Going back to school is one of the easiest ways to successfully change careers. Many people are looking towards jobs in the psychology and counseling realm, as they have a greater amount of flexibility and stability.

According to News Park Forest, two Governors State University (GSU) graduate students had the opportunity to present their research at the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology. Eric Melton and Mike Crane are both students pursuing a master of arts in counseling at the School of Counseling at GSU.

Their presentation was about applying Adlerian methods to adolescents, according to the news source.

“Their presentation grew out of two wonderful papers they did in the course of their graduate studies,” Dr. Julia Yang, a professor at the school of counseling, said to the news source. “This is a high achievement considering all the other presenters were either longtime Adlerians, new professionals or doctoral students.” (fix curlys)
