Many people have decided to go back to school in order to further their education in their career field or explore a new one. Now, two colleges have joined in an agreement that will allow students to obtain a degree in psychology.

According to the Northland Press, psychology students at Central Lakes College can earn bachelor degree credits at St. Cloud University due to an agreement between the colleges that was recently signed.

As part of the agreement, a one-hour lab portion of an online St. Cloud State psychology course will now be offered at Central Lakes College starting this fall semester.

"The articulation agreement will open a pathway for psychology students to move smoothly into a bachelor's level program at St. Cloud State," Central Lakes College psychology professor Martha Kuehn said to the news source. "Students can take psychology classes at Central Lakes College which will transfer to the community psychology major at St. Cloud University."

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the employment of psychologists is expected to grow by 12% between 2008 and 2018.ADNFCR-1502-ID-19880232-ADNFCR
