IT personnel working in the financial services sector may be unsure as to what the future holds for them as the credit crisis continues to bite. However, according to CIO.com, IT staff can do a number of things to help them safeguard their careers in computing or even switch to a new area of expertise. IT professionals working in financial services should remember that their skills are actually among those that are the most in demand, said Technisource senior vice-president John Baschab. "This, combined with a blue-chip name on the resume, should ease the job search," he said.
