Training Courses Can Help Prepare Individuals for New Careers

 Courses can provide additional training
A satisfaction test may reveal to an individual that their current job is no longer fulfilling. However, it can be intimidating to attempt to enter a career in a new industry. Online training courses may be able to prepare a person for a job in an unfamiliar field.

Recently, the Wake County Public School System in North Carolina announced that it will begin offering 125 career training courses for distance learners, according to the Garner News. With a computer and internet access, job hunters will be able to take accredited 6-month courses in an industry of their choice. Gaming, design and technology are all subjects that will be provided by the school system.

"It seems that the health care industry will be largely impacted by the implementation, so I think we can expect to see students who want to be prepared for the changeover beginning to enroll in the ICD-10 medical coding online training program in the next few months," Beth Lynch, online learning coordinator, told the Garner News.

The unemployment rate in January was 9%, according to the Department of Labor. Additional training can help prepare individuals for potential job opportunities.
