Nowadays, more potential employees submit their resume's online and it may be useful to learn how some hiring managers are looking for information under your radar.

According to CIO.com, anyone can employ Google Analytics to see who is arriving on their sites and how. One man has monitored this and went on to employ Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in his professional web documents to encourage potential bosses to learn about him from pages.

Henry Hirschel uses both techniques for personal branding, according to the news provider, and he brings together information gleamed from Analytics, plus his professional LinkedIn profile and his blog on Wordpress.

In other words, to be virtually recognized, it is a good idea to get the right information out there to help land your dream career.

"If I find out somebody is looking for me, that feels good," he explained to CIO.com, "it presents an opportunity to follow-up."

The Bureau of Labor Statistics revealed that the unemployment rate fell to 9.4% for July, and small techniques such as Hirschel 's can help job seekers better stand out.
