One of the ways that individuals with careers in marketing succeed is by noticing a national trend and capitalizing on it. In order to properly push a product, there must be a demand or the need for creation. The invention of social media has proven to be a beneficial tool to marketers who are looking to meet the needs of consumers.

More prospective businesspeople are looking into how they can use social media to further their goal, according to The Guardsman. Several organizations have been established to teach students how to properly market themselves using social media.

"Students feel two ways about social media," Christopher Allen, a graduate teacher, told the news provider. "Half of them love it and half of them think it's a big commercial waste of time. The first thing I do is teach them the importance of personalizing their experience and ensuring that they reflect what they are passionate about."

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, individuals with careers in marketing have the potential to make more than $166,000 a year in salary.ADNFCR-1502-ID-19646807-ADNFCR
