Home based businesses, or small businesses are a great way for individuals with a background in the field to kick start their own career. Small business owners are typically people who like to be their own boss and who succeed working in a small organization. Small businesses may also be a great way for entrepreneurs to get started and could lead to their own franchise.

President Obama recently announced that he believes in small businesses, and is looking to give them a break in funding by putting pressure on banks to supply more loans, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The President specifically noted that when the banks were in trouble, the government bailed them out. He now says he is asking for the same consideration for small businesses to help get the economy back on track.

"But given the difficulty business people are having as lending has declined, and given the exceptional assistance banks receive to get them through a difficult time, we expect them to explore every responsible way to help get our economy moving again," Obama told the news provider.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that small businesses may be good for those who are just starting their career and are looking to build up future growth.ADNFCR-1502-ID-19517151-ADNFCR
