The world of marketing isn't like the AMC television show Mad Men anymore. Though the idea of attracting new customers is still the goal of any good marketer, the platform to do so has shifted from billboards and television advertisements to email marketing and search engine optimization (SEO). Recently, a game room equipment supplier called American Super Sports teamed up with SEO 1 Services, an internet marketing company out of Dallas, Texas. According to Super Sports, the goal of the partnership is to increase the awareness of some of its products, such as air hockey tables, coin-operated pool tables and combination game tables. With the help of search engine marketing, SEO 1 will attempt to raise Super Sports' Google ranking, which will increase the company's online presence and possibly lead to more customers. The sector of SEO jobs is a rising aspect in the marketing world with more companies embracing the idea of using news or online content to attract more customers and to increase its brand awareness in their industry. According to a recent report from comScore, there were 15.4 billion searches carried out this past March, which grew from the 14.4 billion in February.  |
