The best way to pursue a career in accounting is either by earning a bachelor's degree in the subject, or pursing CPA certification. There are many online and evening programs that offer courses to prepare those interested in taking the test. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), employment of accountants is expected to increase by 22% through 2018. The average annual earning for an accountant is about $61,480, according to the BLS.  |
