For business professionals looking to add a finance specialty degree to their resumes in order to advance in their careers, Bryant & Stratton College Online has added 4 new programs to its curriculum. The college said the specializations to its bachelor of business administration (BBA) in general management degree program will provide students with a solid background in management, finance, technology and business and marketing law. Scott Traylor, associate campus director of online education at the Buffalo, New York-based school, said the new specialities include eCommerce, human resources, marketing and project management. "The new specializations give students a more robust set of choices for finding the right career," Scott Traylor noted. "The online business programs at Bryant & Stratton College introduce students to active learning techniques, practical application of research methods, team projects, presentations and internships. As a result, students are better prepared upon graduation for the challenges of management positions." Earlier this year, the school also launched a BBA in accounting degree program to help students prepare for careers in tax or management accounting, finance management, internal auditing and revenue or budget analysis. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment opportunities for financial manager are expected to grow by 8% through 2018. |
