A new survey has found that the hiring outlook for business professionals will continue to rebound early next year. According to the Express survey, hiring trends in all regions of the U.S. are expected to be the greatest in the commercial and light industrial industries, with 20 percent of those surveyed saying they expected to add more administrative and clerical staff during the first quarter of 2012. The outlook for professionals with accounting and finance experience on their resumes is also expected to be good, with 15 percent of companies expecting to hire budgeting staff after the first of the year. The survey also found a skills gap with many businesses saying they were having difficulty recruiting and filling new positions. Companies said that employee referrals, online job boards and staffing firms remain the top three ways they recruit potential new workers. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, job opportunities for accountants and auditors are expected to increase by 22% through the end of the decade, with most finance jobs requiring at least a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field on a candidate's resume. |
