Today, The Headwear Association (THA) chose six notable fashion figures to induct into the Headwear Hall of Fame. This year's inductees are Humphrey Bogart, Audrey Hepburn, Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker, Brad Pitt and Frank Sinatra.

THA nominated more than 50 notable hat wearers, both living and deceased, to be considered by the organization's board of directors for a bid toward hat-wearing immortality. In last year's inaugural Hall of Fame induction, Jackie Kennedy, Johnny Depp, Madonna, Princess Diana, Samuel L. Jackson and Vince Lombardi received the honor.

The 102-year-old body claims its mission to be "promoting hat wearing throughout the world and fostering goodwill and fellowship among those engaged in the headwear industry.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that the employment of artists and related workers is expected to grow 16% through 2016.
